Ugly Christmas sweaters, favorite movies, future collaborations and Christmas lists were topics of conversation when The Band Perry — fresh off of a month on tour in Europe — spent about 30 minutes answering questions from fans on Twitter last week.

Here’s what we learned:

Brothers Neil Perry and Reid Perry agree (with capital letters and exclamation points) that sister Kimberly Perry is the messiest person on their tour bus.

When it comes to “Lord of the Rings,” Neil Perry says Gandalf is his favorite character. And the band agrees that they would all love to collaborate with Bruno Mars.

Kimberly Perry and Reid Perry say it is an unwavering “no” when it comes to donning ugly Christmas sweaters, while Neil Perry thinks it sounds like fun. “Toddlers & Tiaras” is the sibling trio’s favorite reality show, and as far as favorite Christmas movies, “It’s a Wonderful Life” tops Kimberly Perry’s list.

But 2013 hasn’t been all fluff for the group. The Band Perry released its sophomore album, “Pioneer,” and charted No. 1 songs with “Done” and “Better Dig Two.” Members played 126 shows this year and the band was named the hardest working band in country music by www.songkick.com, a site that offers a comprehensive database of concerts and tours.

The highlight of their year, the siblings say, was “Releasing our second album … and planning our first headlining tour!”

The Band Perry will kick off its We Are Pioneers World Tour in Canada in January.

Oh, as for what’s on the band’s Christmas list? Neil Perry, also a photographer, wants a new camera. Specifically, he’s hoping for a a Fuji x100. Brother Reid Perry is a little easier to please — he’s just looking forward to peanut butter cups.
